M\u00f6bel und Dekoration spiegeln die individuellen Geschm\u00e4cker der Bewohner wider und geben Auskunft \u00fcber deren sozialen und finanziellen Status. Ein sch\u00f6n eingerichteter Raum kann als R\u00fcckzugsraum dienen, w\u00e4hrend ein h\u00e4sslich empfundener Raum oft als unangenehm empfunden wird. Die Auswahl der Einrichtungsgegenst\u00e4nde und deren Anordnung verraten viel \u00fcber die Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten der Bewohner. Einrichtungskonzepte und -stile sind dabei vielf\u00e4ltig und unterliegen modischen Str\u00f6mungen. W\u00e4hrend einige Menschen klassische, zeitlose M\u00f6bel bevorzugen, tendieren andere zu modernen, minimalistischen Designs. Die pers\u00f6nliche Vorliebe f\u00fcr bestimmte Materialien, Farben und Formen spiegelt sich in der gesamten Raumgestaltung wider.
